By creating an account or using BoatMC ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.
BoatMC is a marine vessel monitoring platform that collects telemetry data from your boat's electronics and provides dashboards, alerts, MCP integrations, and some managed AI-assisted summaries or automation during beta. The Service is currently in beta and features may change without notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person; accounts are not transferable.
You retain ownership of all telemetry data collected from your vessel. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data for the purpose of providing the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
BoatMC supports both MCP-connected third-party AI clients that you choose and some BoatMC-managed AI features. When you use managed summaries, recommendations, or similar automation, relevant telemetry and account context may be routed through third-party AI infrastructure selected by BoatMC. When you connect your own AI client through MCP, that client and its provider operate under their own terms and policies.
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the software, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
BoatMC is a monitoring tool, not a safety system. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Do not rely solely on BoatMC for vessel safety. Always maintain proper watch and follow standard seamanship practices. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on the Service.
During the beta period, all features are provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers, modify features, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. Your data will remain available for export if the Service is discontinued.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
