Built for liveaboards

Sleep better. Your boat watches itself.

BoatMC connects to your boat's electronics — Victron, NMEA 2000, Signal K, whatever you've got — and streams live telemetry to your phone, laptop, or the AI you already pay for. Peace of mind at anchor. Free to install. No lock-in.

How It Works

Three steps. Then your AI gets smart.

No complex installation. No programming. Connect your existing hardware and let your boat teach itself what "normal" looks like.

1
🔌
Install
Open boatmc.com/install on your laptop on the boat's WiFi. Our wizard probes your network, finds your Cerbo or Pi, and hands you a one-liner to paste. No phone required — though Commander app is there if you want it.
Works with Victron Cerbo GX, Raspberry Pi, or any Signal K server. Victron gear alone gives you batteries, solar, tanks, and GPS. NMEA 2000 instruments add depth, wind, and engines automatically.
2
📊
Learn
Every 10 seconds, a snapshot flows to the cloud. Over 90 days, BoatMC builds baselines — what "normal" looks like for your specific boat.
Morning voltage patterns. Typical solar yield by season. Overnight draw rates. Engine temp curves. Fuel burn profiles. Anchor swing radius. Your boat's unique fingerprint emerges from the data.

🧠
Ask
Connect your own Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini via MCP — copy-paste setup, no API keys from us needed. Your AI now has 16 boat-aware tools and months of your specific boat's context.
The difference between "your battery is at 12.8V" and "your battery is 0.3V below your 90-day morning average, declining since shore power dropped 3 days ago, you have ~2 days at current draw."

AI Integration

Your AI is only as smart as the data behind it.

Same question, same boat, same AI — the only difference is context. BoatMC exposes your boat via MCP, the open protocol that lets Claude, ChatGPT, or any AI ask your boat real questions.

"Is my battery healthy, or should I be worried?"
Current beta answer:
Your house bank is at 12.8V. That's within the normal range for a 12V system.
Context-rich answer:
Your house bank is 0.3V below your 90-day morning average. It's been declining since shore power dropped 3 days ago. At current draw, you have ~2 days before 12.0V. Solar isn't keeping up overnight.
"How's my power budget looking for the week?"
Current beta answer:
Your solar is producing 340W and your battery is at 92%.
Context-rich answer:
Your average daily solar yield is 1.8kWh, but your overnight draw averages 2.1kWh. You're running a 300Wh daily deficit. At this rate your bank drops below 50% by Thursday. Either reduce overnight loads or run the genset for 2 hours.
"Where did we anchor last time we were in this area?"
Current beta answer:
I can see your current GPS position but I don't have any historical location data.
Context-rich answer:
You anchored at 18°27.3'N 64°37.1'W on March 12 for 3 nights. Wind was 8-12 kts from the east, swing radius was 45m. Bilge stayed dry, battery held above 12.6V overnight. Good spot.
